Cookies and web beacons

We use cookies on our website (e.g. Google Analytics cookies) to measure information on the use and reach of the website. This is done on the basis of a legitimate interest (optimisation of our online offer and the associated user experience) within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. Based on information stored with cookies, we can, among other things, display pop-up messages once during your visit or manage login functionalities to access certain content.

You can deactivate the use of cookies from our website and/or third-party providers at any time in your browser settings or allow/block them individually. The following link describes in detail how you can deactivate cookies in your browser: https://de.wikihow.com/Cookies-deaktivieren. In addition, various programmes (e.g. Norton Internet Security) also offer settings for managing cookies. Please note that deactivating cookies may mean that you can no longer use certain functions of our (and other) sites to the same extent.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage so-called website tags via an interface (and thus, for example, integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offering). The tag manager itself (which implements the tags) does not process any personal data of the users. With regard to the processing of users' personal data, please refer to the following information on Google services. Usage guidelines: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

Google Analytics

On puertomate.com we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies (see above). The information generated by this about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, if IP anonymisation is activated, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymisation is active on puertomate.com active. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling aggregate reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity. For more information about how Google uses cookies and what information it collects, you can visit: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/cookies/ or https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

You can deactivate the use of Google Analytics at any time by installing a simple browser add-on. You can find the addon under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/?hl=de.

By default, all data at user and event level linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID) and advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies) are deleted from Google Analytics after 26 months since the last activity of the corresponding user, in accordance with Art. 5 (1) lit. e DSGVO.

Collection of access data and log files

On the basis of our legitimate interests (ensuring the proper operation of the website) within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO, we collect data on accesses to the server on which our website is located (so-called server log files). Information such as the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type (incl. version), the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider is stored in these log files. Log file information is collected for security reasons (e.g. to clarify acts of abuse or fraud) and stored for as long as is reasonable or necessary for evidentiary purposes.

Contact forms

We offer all visitors to our website the opportunity to contact us via contact forms. When using the corresponding forms, personal information such as name, e-mail address and the corresponding messages are collected and stored. Based on our legitimate interests (combating spam and processing user enquiries) within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO, we use this information to process incoming enquiries and orders or to filter spam entries.

Integration of third-party services and content

In some places on this website, third-party content such as captchas from Google reCaptcha or graphics from other websites are integrated. This means that the third-party providers become aware that our website has been accessed via your IP address when the website is loaded. The integration of third-party content and services only takes place in exceptional cases and always on the basis of legitimate interests to improve the user experience on our website.

For the consistent and correct display of fonts on our website, we use Google Web Fonts. When you load our website, the corresponding fonts are loaded into your browser cache. The use of web fonts is based on a legitimate interest (consistent, error-free and appealing display of all texts and fonts) in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

To display web fonts, your browser establishes a connection to Google servers. Google is thereby informed that our website has been accessed via your IP address.
